The Arab Shipbuilding & Repair Yard Company (ASRY) Congratulates its Engineers and Praises their Distinguished Efforts on Bahraini Engineer’s Day
On the occasion of Bahraini Engineer’s Day, which falls on October 15th; ASRY Board of Directors congratulated all the ASRY engineers, expressing their utmost pride in their distinguished efforts and tireless endeavors that pushed the company towards brilliance and success.

ASRY plays a significant role in supporting the national engineering cadres by creating countless opportunities of empowerment, and involving them in the company’s development, with a focus on preparation, education, and training. Accordingly, the percentage of Bahraini engineers in the various engineering departments of the company has risen by 37% in 2023. In addition, the number of employees working in the Production department has reached more than 1,400 employees.

ASRY leads a group of service centers and specialized industrial workshops that cover the company’s production sectors, such as maintenance, mechanical, electrical, steel, boiler, and pipe workshops. These workshops train and employ qualified technicians and engineers on an ongoing basis to enable them to occupy higher positions in the future, as part of the company’s plans to support ASRY’s comprehensive transformation and raise the level of productivity.

Moreover, ASRY’s New Construction & Engineering Division has achieved many accomplishments at the regional and international levels, where it has obtained an accreditation from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to carry out the work of manufacturing and repairing Pressure Vessel. This came as a result of the company’s commitment to applying international standards in all aspects of work, which pushed ASRY to new heights in contributing to the Oil & Gas and Marine industry, in line with ASRY’s development strategy.

With this achievement, ASRY can manufacture various vessels required for the Oil and Gas activities in the region, in addition to repairing and manufacturing Pressure Vessels, which are considered the main equipment in the Oil & Gas Industry, as well as being an integral component of the Marine Industry.
The company praises the essential role and the distinguished efforts of the engineers in ASRY’s varying production sectors, and wishes them continued growth and success.
